Hi!

Hi everyone! Sorry that I haven't been writing recently. Anyway, we are back in Africa now. It has been surprisingly cold these past few days, even dropping into the teens at night! We are social distancing for one more week, and then we will be able to go to places, and back to our town! We are back doing school now, and listening to Simba running around, pretending to be a baby.

What was the weirdest thing that happened to you in an airport? When we were checking in to our flight in England, I think rolled a baggage trolley over my toe, cracking my toenail in a V shape. 😢😢😢

It hurt a bit, but what was weirdest was that I don't actually know how I did it. 😳

  1. It is so good to hear from you Lily! I am so sorry about your toenail and that it happened at the airport! The weirdest thing that ever happened to me was at your airport in the capital there. I used a pen that the clerk at the counter gave me to fill out a form and I forgot to return it to her. I had it in my hand as I walked away. A man came up to me and asked me in Arabic and by pointing that he wanted my watch, then my purse, then my suitcase!! I said, "NO" and shook my head. Then he said in English, "STICK" and he pointed to the pen in my hand. I gave it to him and he had a huge smile on his face and walked away very happy. ;)

  2. I'm so sorry, Lily! The weirdest thing that happened to me at an airport was I went to Jordan in the Middle East once, and a man named Muhammed was supposed to pick me up from the airport. Well, I didn't know his last name, so when I got there I just was asking people for Muhammed, and everyone laughed at me because there were so many people named Muhammed! Fortunately, I found him eventually, because he was holding a big sign that had my name written on it. Next time I will find out the full name of whoever is supposed to pick me up!

  3. Well, since I'm Lily's sister, she knows all the different times that things happen at the airport with me. Hey, Aunty Abigail, Mom would like to know if you have forgotten about my blog. It's just because you haven't been even viewing it, so she wants to know if you are commenting or even reading my blog. Anyway, probably the funniest (not the weirdest) time was when we (The Prices) were going to leave so that we could come back here, (The Falkes were with us) and when we were sitting down on a bench near the door of the airport, and there were some pillars next to us, and then Desmond started climbing them! He was trying to climb to the ceiling! Of course he didn't manage too, although he got quite high.

  4. Hope your toe is feeling better by now, Lily!! One time uncle Nay and I had a layover at a tiny little airport in El Salvador and we both paid a woman $5 who was offering to give people back massages and even thought the massage felt amazing, it was awkward because everyone who walked by would stare at us πŸ˜‚
