Biscuits

This year I was old enough to join Biscuits-in-bed, Oxford Community Church's Youth group. We have Zoom meetings every Friday, and we have a Discord chat app, and a Bible app that we do plans on.  I have made new friends, and have learned a lot of fun games, and crafts. in fact, I have learned how to make a book mark! Have you ever been to a Youth group, or just had a group of friends that you met together with?  -L

ps. Aunty Abigail, and Uncle Joshua, look at my location!

  1. HI Lily! Biscuits sounds like a great group of people! I am so happy for you! Guess what? On Saturday I had a Zoom call with two old friends that I met in youth group at our church. One of them, Sue, I met when I was 12 and the other one, Donna, I met when I was 15. We are still very, very good friends. We call each other "life time friends" or "forever friends." I hope you are making some "lifetime" or "forever friends"! Love, Grandma PS. I just found a bookmark that Aunt Abigail made me years ago. Yours may last for many years!

    2. I have never been very good at origami. Aunt Deborah and Aunt Emily are really good at it! Hand them each a stack of paper sometime and watch them work! Love, Grandma

  3. Lily, I am trying really hard to figure out the meaning of Biscuits-in-bed. I mean, eating biscuits in bed sounds lovely, but where did that name come from? It's so random! :) Also, I love that you chose a photo of me with braces. I had braces from ages 11-14. Are you going to need to get braces sometime? And thanks for visiting us in Richmond, VA!!

  4. I'm sorry I missed you while you were in Richmond. I still remember when you came to visit us and we went to the Children's Museum. I'm looking forward to the next time we can see each other and have new adventures!
I didn't grow up with a Christian youth group but I was able to be a part of a youth group once. One year I visited the U.S. when I was a teenager and the youth group of a church in the U.S. invited my brother and I to go to camp with them and join in all their summer activities. It was so much fun and I'm still friends with some of the people who were in that group.
