When was the most freaky time in your life? One day when I was 3, a friend of ours came over on our team's motorbike and offered to take me for a ride. Mom agreed, not knowing that the 'ride' was actually a trip to the office, which was halfway across town! Hahaha! Mom took off after me, carrying my brother, and trying to lock our door at the same time! My dad was sure surprised when I showed up in his office alone, with Mom a little later! We still joke about it!

DeleteThat does sound scary! I will have to think about my scariest time. I will tell you that the only time that I have ever been on a motorcycle was when Uncle Dave took me around a campground at a church retreat. We only went 5 miles per hour. (I was still a bit scared!)

DeleteI used to have a motorbike - and one day when I was waiting to join another road, a car hit me from behind. I went flying in the air, but as I cam down I managed to do a roll/gambol, and ended it all standing up! Boy was I surprised - I asked myself "How did I get here?"

DeleteIt reminds me of when I took Susie, aged 1 1/2, to my workplace, which was a vaccine research centre (same place as they are now starting covid vaccine trials, I was a PA there for 6 months). I was chatting to colleagues and showing off Susie, but then I took my eyes off her for a few seconds and she sped diwn the corridor and nearly got into the Malaria lab! Stella
